Franklin Music Centre is a not-for-profit community interest company, led by Nikki Franklin and Nicki Day, both active members of the local creative scene.
The centre exists to support and connect a wide range of individuals and groups across the communities of Earlswood, Redhill, Merstham, Reigate, Horley and the surrounding areas. This includes musicians, music teachers, choir leaders, local ensembles, venues and St John’s Parish.
Our initiatives support young and adult music students, early-career and established professional musicians, as well as local singers, performers and creatives. Alongside our musical work, Franklin Music includes a growing drama strand, supporting theatre-making and collaboration across the performing arts.
We are committed to inclusion and accessibility, ensuring that people from low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds can take part in and benefit from meaningful creative experiences.
We believe that music contributes to the development and wellbeing of individuals and communities and aim to give opportunities to develop and support music making at all levels, whether leading to future careers and wider learning, or as a leisure activity.
